AldrichVKP Construction Company (AldrichVKP) is a Pacific Northwest construction firm delivering high-quality healthcare and life-science specialty projects. 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support our project teams through contract preparation, document management, change order administration, and compliance tracking. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in continuous improvement, adapting new technology, collaborating with others, and contributing to a team-oriented culture that supports flexibility around family schedules while maintaining strong project accountability.

About the Position

The Contract Administrator will be primarily responsible for drafting, tracking, and maintaining owner contracts, subcontract agreements, and change orders throughout the lifecycle of construction projects. This role will work closely with project managers, accounting, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely execution, accurate documentation, and contract compliance.

This contract coordination role is focused on document preparation, tracking, and compliance administration with an opportunity to grow into increased responsibility in contract negotiations, risk review, and contract management over time.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, experienced with AIA contract documents/software, and comfortable working with construction technology platforms including Bluebeam, GC Pay, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Familiarity with Washington State public works requirements, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and L&I compliance is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, issue, track, and maintain owner contracts and subcontract agreements
  • Prepare and process subcontractor and owner change orders
  • Maintain contract logs, insurance certificates, lien waivers, and project documentation
  • Track contract execution status and ensure timely completion of all required documentation
  • Coordinate with project management and accounting teams regarding billing and contract compliance
  • Assist with project closeout documentation and records management
  • Maintain subcontractor prequalification and compliance records
  • Support Washington State public works compliance, prevailing wage tracking, and certified payroll documentation
  • Assist with L&I reporting, Intent and Affidavit filing, and labor compliance documentation when applicable
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across project documentation and templates
  • Provide administrative support for project startup and ongoing contract administration
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in construction administration, contract administration, project coordination, or related field
  • Experience working with AIA contract documents and/or AIA software
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience maintaining confidential and sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with construction software tools such as Bluebeam, GC Pay, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Experience in commercial construction or general contracting
  • Familiarity with Washington State public works requirements, including prevailing wage, certified payroll, Intent and Affidavit filing, and L&I compliance
  • Experience with subcontract management and change order tracking
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field
Compensation

Salary Range: $75,000 to $95,000 annually depending on experience, qualifications, and technical expertise

HOME OFFICE: This position is based out of our Bothell, Washington office. Employees are required to work four days in the office with the option to work from home on Friday's.
