Repurposed retail space to healthcare clinic

As healthcare organizations continue to broaden their network for market share, they need to look at creative solutions for the fast delivery of new healthcare facilities. Retail spaces have become an opportunity for lower rents, ideal parking, and prime location. Aldrich supported the client early in evaluating the constructability of converting the vacant retail space prior to signing a lease. Our feasibility analysis included evaluating the integrity of the roof, floor moisture emissions, mechanical and electrical systems, and structural modifications. To meet the aggressive project schedule our team managed early procurement and started construction prior to the completion of all contract documents. The new clinic includes exam rooms, a lab, an X-ray, behavioral health, and a walk-in clinic.
