Safety on occupied college campus

Aldrich closely coordinated sophisticated, high-energy efficient mechanical and electrical systems and equipment, while providing constant communication with college facilities operations, managing traffic control and temporary pedestrian corridors. Our depth of experience working in occupied facilities and consistent collaboration with the college staff was crucial to the success of the project.

The combination of sophisticated laboratory and IT requirements with complicated high-energy efficiency lighting and HVAC systems was particularly challenging. Our project goal was to achieve LEED™ Silver. Aldrich worked with our design team and sustainability consultant to achieve LEED™ Gold at no additional cost to the college.
